What people are saying about Adelaide Oval
Our guide was very generous with his time given that part of our group were very slow getting up and down stairs, however given the age of two of our group he needed to project his voice more for them to hear properly. He as quite specific in his approach to the tour and I had heard that some of the tour guide have good stories to tell a bit. More of this would have been appreciated. When I had asked about the tour I probably needed more information about the number of stairs due to mobility issues for a person in our group. I personally enjoyed the tour as did others in our group. Particularly the scoreboard and the halls of fame of cricketers and football players. I thank the oval board or whoever for providing the opportunity of such a tour
Great experience!! Great Xmas gift with my son’s, memories to be treasured. One consideration re climbers that are very nervous/uncomfortable with heights to be placed toward the front of group with leader, Also bearing in mind where you stop and change radios esp when windy weather and very exposed, otherwise we had a great time!!
Adelaide oval is very impressive. It was interesting to see behind the scenes and hear a little about the history, how things operate, and a few amusing anecdotes. It was unfortunate that a door here and there didn't want to open, and that the tour leader was sometimes difficult to hear.
It was a good experience, well planned and well worth doing. The only negative i would have would be the cost of the photographs, they should be included in the package or make them more affordable. $29.00 for 2 pictures is a bit steep and $59.00 for a usb, forget it.
Had been talking about this tour with our interstate guest as he had shown interest to go and so glad we did. Was very informative and so lovely to see how much positive change our State is bringing. Was great to see behind the scenes. So impressed!
