Full description
The Murray River is the gateway to Australia's harsh outback, but its gently rolling rapids bring you through spectacular hills, green vineyards, and golden citrus orchards. Today you can sail along this great waterway through Mallee outback, while enjoying morning tea.

During your voyage, you'll pass incredible landscapes and local communities, including Mannum: the birthplace of the River Murray Paddelsteamers. This historic trip takes you back to the bawdy days of the riverboat, hem men would toil up river in the blazing sun on their way to the Torrens Valley.

Return to Adelaide via Melba's Choclate Factory at Woodside.
  • Riverboat cruise

We had a wonderful day even though it was very hot but we made the most of the day. The tour was very informative and going to the Melba Chocolate shop was a real treat. Adelaide has Beautiful Architecture and it is clean and well laid out and very easy to get around the CBD. It was sad seeing all the burnout areas after the recent bush fires and how very dry Adelaide is. Would recommend visiting, Barossa was great and the River Cruises are great fun too

This was our first time booking with Get Your Guide, so I was a little apprehensive. But any doubts I had are now gone, and I’m excited to go on our remaining tours. From booking online to the tour itself, everything was booked as it said it was, the pickup happened on time and the tour itself was great. For those who are unsure about cruising/boats, this particular tour isn’t 8 hrs on a boat. It’s max 2-3 hrs. The remainder of the time you’re on a coach (bus) travelling around.

it was too pricey for the overall experience. The ship was small and not as in the photo, their A/C was not enough to cool the place and was not working since -only a 1 fan for one are alone, the lunch was terrible and I’d pay $12 for a less below RSL type of meal. You can not stay in the captain’s lounge as it hurts the eyes, maybe due to the gas air. There was a heatwave and a lot would not want to get off to one stop over. Due to bushfire in the area, chocolate factory was cancelled but there was not other options they took us. Basically the tour was just 2 hrs drive then 3 hours cruising and 2 hours drive back for $160. I would have expect them for a refund for the cancelled itinerary.
