Protesters & rain but still great thanks to Shane

Protesters in London caused all Tour Buses lots of problems on our trip. But the staff that greeted us at The Aldwich were professional and efficient. Once the bus arrived Shane took over and he was fantastic. What a great asset to your company. He apologised many times for events that were totally out of his control (protesters/diversions) We were on the bus much longer than we intended and missed a few things due to the diversions. The weather changed in an instant from blue skies and sunshine to heavy rain but my friends and I stayed put with Shane on the top deck, he stood up throughout. He entertained with great information and humour and even played "Its Raining Men" for us when we were totally soaked. He apologised again & kept us informed when he got off it was so very different. We could not really hear Luke and didn't actually see him - he sat somewhere but we didn't know where. It was disappointing that our £34 each trip was so badly disrupted but Shane made it great fun!

Great tour, and so easy with this service!

This was one of the best tours I've ever been on! The guides for the walking tour were looking for us to arrive and just asked for our names. Rosie, the guide for our group was extremely friendly and knowledgeable! I'd definitely go with her again! She provided headsets, so there was no trouble hearing everything she had to say. We had an opportunity to sit down in the shade at one point. Then we were dropped off at the War Room Tour. I'd allow at least 3 hours to see the Churchill Museum and the War Rooms. An audio guide was included with the price. I have minor claustrophobia, but managed fine even though we were underground those few hours. There are marked exits and personnel available throughout, so that helped. But if you have a great deal of problem with claustrophobia, this is not the tour for you. It was, to sum up, memorable and inspiring! I can't say enough!

Great tour with a difference - great with older kids

I read the reviews before I booked and feel that they reflect the kind of experience you’re going to have. I was with my 11 year old son and 69 year old mother - it crossed all those generations and the theatrics was fun and we really enjoyed it. The female conductor was really really great. And genuinely funny and her improv and innuendo was hilarious. Highly recommend. PS We went at 9am to ensure it was dark - may be a little less fun in the day light. Bus is gorgeous - we sat downstairs and was super.

The walking tour of Westminster was excellent--brought history to life

The walking tour of Westminster was excellent--the guide brought history to life, with many interesting stories. The War Rooms tour was really interesting, but I was surprised to find out that portion was not guided and instead was an audio guide tour. That should be noted, so people can decide if that's what they want. Because I'm hearing impaired, that was not really a good option for me.

Nice walking tour....well timed to see changing of horses at palace.

Guide did a great job keeping the group moving and informing along the way. She timed our arrival at the palace and positioned us for optimal photos. Also good job skipping the line at the Churchill war rooms. Would have liked her sign/flag to match the tour name or say "get your guide".
