      Choose between a General Admission ticket to the 86th floor outdoor observation deck or a Combination Ticket with access to the newly renovated 102nd floor, showcasing floor to ceiling windows. You can also upgrade your experience with an Express Ticket.

        It was a great experience. We didn't really need the priority as there were no lines, thursday 1 pm. The museum on the 2nd floor is really nice and I would certainly not skip it, even though you have priority via the red express lane. The 360° view on the 80th floor (inside) was already beautiful, but on the 86th floor, outside, just below the big tower mast, was really crazy! We were there at the end of January, so quite chilly and a lot of wind, but clear weather, so beautiful. The info emails were very useful!

        We went on a quiet day, we were asked if we would like to use an iPad to have descriptions of sites you see from the tower. This was $15 it was slightly outdated but some of the info was interesting. Make sure you pick the best package when booking. Cafe food has to be eaten where you can find a bench unless you eat in the restaurant.

        Express Pass is definitely recommended, especially at busy times. The only line you have to wait in line is in front of the main entrance to the Empire State Building. Once inside, you will be guided past all the lines. The price is of course high - for a rare experience but probably acceptable.
