Full description

Explore the Isle of Skye from Inverness and marvel at some of the most dramatic landscapes Scotland has to offer. See Loch Ness, visit Eilean Donan Castle, Portree, Kilt Rock, and much more.

Depart Inverness and travel South, along the shoreline of Loch Ness to Invermoriston. Stop for a short break at Loch Ness which is 24 miles long, over 700ft deep, famous for its sightings of the Loch Ness monster.

Continue to the picturesque Eilean Donan Castle, situated on its own island at the head of Loch Duic. Take time to explore one of Scotland’s most photographed castles and its atmospheric surroundings.

Journey to the Isle of Skye, passing over the Skye Bridge and on to the small village of Portree for a lunchtime stop. Portree, although a small harbor village, is the capital of Skye, and is surrounded by rocky cliffs and rolling hills.

Take in its beautiful surroundings while enjoying lunch with views of the boats. Begin touring the island with stops at Kilt Rock, Lealt Falls, the Old Man of Storr, and perhaps Strome Viewpoint.

I am a 75 year old English man. I have been in tour buses around the world. I had to say the following about this tour. The tour exceeded my expectations and was very well run. I honestly have to say the tour guide/driver, Ray, I find him very informative and knowledgeable and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who is going on a tour with your company and he is the tour guide. Very satisfied. From Collin (Surrey) I found this tour excellent. I learned so much about the history of Scotland from Ray, our top notch tour guide and driver. He excelled in his job. I enjoyed the beautiful Scottish music he played after each commentary that he made. I understood each word, I'm from Philippines and I appreciate that he speaks in clear English, not strong Scottish accent. This tour worth every penny. Highly recommended. I booked this tour to celebrate my 57th birthday and I was not disappointed. I had a wonderful birthday. Thanks to Ray and your company.

The trip to Skye on 7th October was brilliant despite the weather being so awful. Our guide Ryan was great and he managed to show us things and keep our spirits up even though we were wet for the majority of the day. We were even able to make a few unscheduled stops in locations of interest. Highly recommend The Granary for lunch in Portree. A full day of spectacular scenery, highly recommend booking and don’t let the weather put you off.

We had the most amazing day even though the weather didn’t cooperate. Our guide, Chris, certainly is very knowledgeable with Scottish history and real-time happenings. We enjoyed every moment of the tour. He even worked around the itinerary to make sure we’ve experienced everything our trip could offer. Highly recommendable!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
