From the meeting point in Louise Mckinney Riverside Park, you’ll have a safety video briefing and Segway training in order to begin the tour. Along with your enthusiastic and knowledgeable expert park guide, embark on your 1-hour Segway ride through the park that is part of the North Saskatchewan River valley parks system.   Enjoy the rich history of the Chinese Gardens, marvel at the modern architecture of the funicular, venture toward the promenade, and take amazing pictures of the river valley. Next, explore the fur trading era in the Fort and take a stroll through the settlement, municipal, and metropolitan eras. Your 2 hour Segway Adventure departs from the RVAC headquarters in beautiful Louise McKinney Park on the banks of the North Saskatchewan river. After that, you'll drive to the Puerco Pueblo, the site of a 100-room pueblo inhabited over 600 years ago. Here, you can also see a solar calendar—a rock slab with petroglyphs that mark the summer solstice. Then, visit Newspaper Rock, home to over 650 petroglyphs left by Puebloan people centuries ago. Ponder the stories these symbols might tell, providing glimpses into the life and culture of ancient inhabitants. Continuing on, you'll encounter the Tepees, fascinating formations notable for their layers of vibrant rock. Then, venture on to the Blue Mesa, a place where blue-hued badlands and petrified wood coexist, presenting a visually striking contrast. Rent an electric bike for the day. There are both commuter e-bikes and fat e-bikes available for all kinds of riding, suitable for both beginners and more experienced riders. These bikes go up to 30km/hr and can travel up to a distance of 150km on one full charge.  Take a look at the large map when you collect the bike to get an idea of what trails are located close to the activity provider's office. Then set off on a route of your choice and begin to explore the area with the power of an e-bike. A helmet is included in the cost of the rental and optional insurance and bike lock hire are available at an additional cost.
