Great trip with good opportunity to see the beautiful Scottish countryside. A wonderful trip with the Hogwarts Express and a unique opportunity to also see the train running and the Glefinnan Viaduct. Super good driver and guide who told about the landscape, Scottish history and Harry Potter related things. All through an unforgettable trip.

What a great way to see so much of the Highlands in one day! Our guide was brilliant! The train journey was great. There was much more of the history of Scotland than Harry Potter, which was not a problem! The lovely stops on the way were also at treat!

We had a lovely drive from Edinburgh to the Highlands. In Fort William we had the "choice" with the Jacobite Steam Train, after the outward journey from Fort William to Mallaig back again or by bus and make a photo stop at the viaduct. The decision to return by train was insistently described by coach Willi as "a big mistake". For my fellow passengers and I, however, it was a dream and a wish to cross the famous viaduct twice on the train and enjoy the view of the Highlands. Our decision was viewed with disapproval and a strange group dynamic developed in favor of Willi and against us. Dear Willi, you can't know what's good for me, so you can't make the decision for me either. I wish you respect and acceptance for my decision. The return journey on a train that was not so full, with sun and open windows was our highlight. This is where the best photos/videos were taken.
