Full description

Leave the buzz of Edinburgh behind for a guided day trip out into Scotland's unmissable natural landscape. Enjoy stops at Pitlochry, Loch Ness, Glen Coe, and Stirling, and experience the Cairngorms National Park.

Board your bus on the Royal Mile, and sit back and relax for your journey out of the city. Let your driver and guide take the lead as you enjoy knowing everything is arranged for the day ahead.

Watch the landscape gradually become more rugged from the comfort of your seat. Keep your eyes peeled as you drive past the iconic Forth Bridge as you head towards the Highlands.

Take a break to stretch your legs at the beautiful Highland town of Pitlochry. Sample some delicious home baking on your stop as you immerse yourself in the authentic Scottish atmosphere.

Clamber back on board to travel through the scenic Cairngorms National Park. Allow your mind to wander as you tour through a dramatic landscape of brooding mountains and desolate moors.

Get ready to look for the monster at your next stop at Loch Ness. Soak up the mysterious atmosphere and keep your eyes peeled for a sight of Nessie. An optional visit to Urquhart Castle is also available at this stop.

Pause at your next stop of Glen Coe to take in the scenery. Feel the past come to life as your guide reveals its history, and tells you all about the terrible massacre of the Clan which occured there.

Finish in the beautiful city of Stirling. Enjoy some free time to explore, admire the castle, and learn all about the exploits of William Wallace — portrayed in the film "Braveheart" — before boarding the bus for the drive back to Edinburgh.

It was great fun. Alex the driver was very friendly and kept us all entertained with jokes and telling us the history of Scotland. It was worth it even the extra bit of walking around the castle and the Loch Ness boat ride which just cost an extra £25. I would recommend anyone who wants to see the highlands to book a trip with this company as you will not be disappointed.

Had the best day. Our driver and tour guide Rob was fantastic. Rob was very informative and had many stories to tell. The beauty of the Scottish Highlands is so spectacular I will definitely be back again. Make sure you chose the boat cruise and visit the castle. Both are awesome. Cruising on Loch Ness was gorgeous and serene. The weather was perfect and stops along the way were also fabulous. Loved every minute.
