Steph was our guide for the Edinburgh Castle tour and was FANTASTIC!! The day was chilly and windy but Steph made that unnoticeable with her riveting and entertaining tour. While being exceptionally informational, she was equally animated and dramatic which made her tour that much more enjoyable - she brings history to life with sincerity and humor. As a local, she is extremely proud of her Scottish heritage and it shows with her unabashed pride and enthusiasm. While not able to take tours into the actual buildings in the castle, she does set you up with useful information so you can easily accomplish this by yourself at the end of the tour. Bottom line: this tour was WELL worth the time and cost. I hope all the guides are as good as Steph - she is a tremendous ambassador of not only Edinburgh but all of Scotland. Somewhere Robert the Bruce and William Wallace are smiling down on her in approval...!
