What people are saying about Edam

Overall rating

4.7 / 5

based on 4,107 reviews

I rated this tour excellent overall and it was such a great bargain for only $35. Our guide, Wybe, was a major reason for this rating. He exceeded my expectations with his knowledge of the history of the places visited and his ability to communicate the stories to us. The bus ride was very pleasant and I enjoyed the views. Previous negative comments speak to being rushed. Considering the number of places we visited, it would be impossible to allow people to wander or shop. On this particular tour, our timely departure from each location was dependent on the people taking the tour. This resulted in shorter than desired time at our last point of interest - Zaanse Schans. Wybe was very patient with tardy tourists. One suggestion would be that the tour guide communicate where toilet opportunities will be at the beginning of the tour. Additionally, the web site should communicate that no facilities, food or beverages are available at the tour meeting place. I highly recommend this tour.

Ilyas was a good guide- very organized and clear with his instructions! The 6 hours was very productive and we visited 5 places. Good time to spend our day!
