Get breathtaking views of the ice-covered peaks of Skaftafell National Park in the epic wilderness of Iceland. Meet your guide at the Skaftafell visitor center to pick-up your crampons, ice axes, harnesses and helmets. Highly recommend this glacier hiking tour! Erica, our tour guide, was super knowledgeable and wonderful !

What people are saying about Eastern Region, Iceland

Our guide Matt was amazing! The most intelligent and funny guid that we have had in Iceland so far. Our bus driver Kal was also amazing. We chose to skip coffee and see some extra sights and it was sooo worth it. It’s a long day but I learned more in this trip than any where else while in this country! The lagoon boat is a must don’t skip it. The waterfalls are also incredible! All the glaciers were more exciting because Matt knew everything about every single one. I appreciate that he enjoys his job so much. His passion is intoxicating.

Informative. Well organized. But if u have a child, it will be better to book another one. There is a lot of tours where u shouldn't pay for children.

Everything was well organized and the guide told interesting things about the formation of the glaciers and was also in a good mood;)

Wonderful excursion, the guide Marcelo really nice and incredibly prepared. A great experience!

It was amazing to see the icebergs and the glaciar, although it is really far away!!
