I have travelled to many cities within Europe and have done countless tours and experiences, but this tour is by far the best I have ever been on for many reasons. Firstly, I did this tour with my wife and have been searching for the perfect boat and tour guide to do this with and after much research decided to go with Maro! Our captain was by far the most amazing guide you could possibly ask for. He made us feel comfortable and safe throughout the experience. He was full of knowledge and had a great sense of humour. We toured about 4 or 5 different caves, including the blue cave. Even though we were not experienced sea swimmers Maro was more than happy to jump in with us and guide us through the caves and take the most amazing pictures with the gopro camera. We also did the Lokrum island caves where Maro was always on hand to find the best spots for pictures. I enjoyed the experience and Maro so much that i booked another fishing trip with him in the same week! 5 star Maro. Thank you
This trip was amazing! I was solo cruising and I absolutely loved it. The guide is very educational and answered all my questions about the history of the country as well as gave an good overview of the town and the islands. The sea during the sunset was so beautiful, picturesque and so relaxing. The wine which was included in the package was so good. It was unique and of good quality. It felt very comfortable during the whole trip. The boat was nice and so clean. The guide was steering the boat carefully and safely. I would definitely recommend this sunset cruise!
Our guide, Desa was really nice and we enjoyed our tour of the city walls with her. We learned a lot of things about the history of Dubrovnik, local stories and she also told us about the filming locations of GOT ( for us it was enough and we did not book another tour for that). She also recommended us things to do and places to eat so do not hesitate to ask for tips. The tour was worth its money as its a great way to find out the short history of the town and its close surroundings.
She was excellent and knowing the history of the wall made all the difference. However I have to say I think Dubrovnik hast lost its soul and hardly any Croatians live in the city. Everything has been converted to airbnbs. Sad but I would not return nor recommend coming to anyone.
Can not fault this tour. Very friendly and informative guide (Lukša) with great knowledge of the area and its history. The boat was very clean and perfectly sized. All this and the sunset made this a very special trip and well worth it’s money. Thank you Lukša.
