Dubrovnik: City Walls Sunset Guided Tour

1. Dubrovnik: City Walls Sunset Guided Tour

Join a guided walking tour and traverse the famous city walls of Dubrovnik, a beautiful reminder of distant medieval times. Marvel at breathtaking views as you walk the 2-kilometer wall surrounding the town and see for yourself why the Old City of Dubrovnik is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dubrovnik has preserved its city walls despite changing trends that once suggested any types of fortifications are obsolete and redundant. Admire the terracotta roofs and narrow streets from above. In addition, enjoy the clear vista over the Adriatic sea, revealing just about any boat on the horizon. This view explains why the city was successfully defended for centuries. The town survived many wars, including the recent Homeland War from 1991-1995, but Dubrovnik was renewed in a manner that the damage is not visible. Find out why the city of Dubrovnik has inspired artists, writers and photographers as you explore the ancient Mediterranean city and wander along the elegant walls.

This was a wonderful experience! So well organized, and our guide, Ivan, was so knowledgeable, patient, and helpful! The setting was just gorgeous, and we loved having an opportunity to swim and even cliff jump in a cave if we wanted to. The sunset was sensational!

Food was delicious, although get to the food first for the best selection. We were first to the food but quickly saw that although the staff replenished some of the food, some of it wasn’t so get there quick

Great sunset walk of the city wall. The guide is excellent and tried very hard to let us walk thorough the entire wall, enjoying the sunset, taking photos while explaining each of the significant sight.

Ivana was an amazing tour guide! She messaged us the day before to ensure we had our tickets and was a wealth of knowledge! 8am was a great time before it got too hot!

We had a wonderful time even though we were late. We just didn't read the instructions correctly. She was very informative and the history lesson was great.
