This was the highlight of our holiday, I recommend it for anyone, whether you have kayaked before or not!! It was easy to book, instructions for the meeting point were clear so it was easy to find. Our guide was very knowledgeable and told some great stories about the history of dubrovnik as we kayaked around! The beach you stop off at to snorkel is a bit small, but once youve had your snack and get into the water everyone spreads out so it is fine, there is also a cliff you can jump off which is great fun! There's a shorter option offered, i think it was a 5km round trip, or you can opt to sdo the 7km, which we did, and we recommend, as you get to go around the island of lokrum and see the old town from various viewpoints.. And it isnt as tiring as it seems thanks to the current! The sunset was stunning, luckily we had a warm and clear night... And the views of the old town and the city walls as you head back are breathtaking! If you can only do one thing in dubrovnik- make it this!
Great kayaking tour starting from Dubrovnik Pile gate. Snorkeling was fab. Lots of fish to look at. Kayaking was really all levels, we are both experienced river kayakers but had never done sea kayaking and there were some complete beginners in the group, yet everyone had fun. Guide was knowledgeable and talked us through local things to do, beaches to go to, best restaurants, and history of the landmarks along our trip, as well as some local legends. Trip well worth taking the te for. Don't forget waterproof sunscreen and hats/sunglasses.
We did the walls tour with Marco and the City tour with Branko. They were both excellent - probably the best guides we have encountered. They both gave a lot of their personal experiences which is head to do and not for it not appear rehearsed. We took early teenagers with us - they are hard to impress but they all enjoyed themselves. The middle one has picked up an expression much loved by Marco - thats the way it rolls in Dubrovnik. Over and over. Thanks for that Marco
A truly marvelous experience very informative and very knowledgeable guides imparting historically facts and local anecdotal gems to an audience hanging onto every word, I Give You (Marco) a living legend and a national treasure fantastic guide with great personality long may he reign in Old Ragusa, and not forgetting Jandranka, a lovely well informed guide again with a wealth of knowledge and and a great way of imparting same to groups
Excellent sunset. This alone was worth it. However there are a lot of kayak tours but the guides do their best to separate you. The paddling is pretty easy busy it is still quite a distance. The snorkling was not great. Hygiene is an issue. Not a lot to look at. The food and wine at the end was not worth it. Pick one without that.
