Full description

Join a guided walking tour and traverse the famous city walls of Dubrovnik, a beautiful reminder of distant medieval times. Marvel at breathtaking views as you walk the 2-kilometer wall surrounding the town and see for yourself why the Old City of Dubrovnik is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Dubrovnik has preserved its city walls despite changing trends that once suggested any types of fortifications are obsolete and redundant.

Admire the terracotta roofs and narrow streets from above. In addition, enjoy the clear vista over the Adriatic sea, revealing just about any boat on the horizon. This view explains why the city was successfully defended for centuries.

The town survived many wars, including the recent Homeland War from 1991-1995, but Dubrovnik was renewed in a manner that the damage is not visible.

Find out why the city of Dubrovnik has inspired artists, writers and photographers as you explore the ancient Mediterranean city and wander along the elegant walls.

The best way to see this extraordinary city for the first time. Our guide, Dasha, is a local lady with first hand knowledge about Dubrovnik and gave us a lot of history and information. And watching the sunset from the highest part of the wall was a plus. Highly recomended.

We were on the fence about just buying standard wall tour tickets and walking the wall on our own or doing a guided tour. We are so happy we did the guided tour. The depth of knowledge was astounding and learned so much about Dubrovnik / Old Town that we would have never learned on our own. Great pacing, perfect time to go (6-8pm), and friendly guide.

Our guide Desha was super friendly and knew the history very well. He was always attentive to all the participants and we really enjoyed the tour. There are many steep stairs so it is not recommended to go with children or people over 65 years of age. But it is something that should be done anyway when visiting Dubrovnik. The cost of the tour does NOT include the ticket to enter the walls so that cost is separate and we thought it was not very clear when they sell it to you.
