Full description
Depart Dublin and travel North, stopping at a service station along the way for breakfast and to stretch your legs. From the 11th of April until the 1st of September, passengers can take a 5-minute photo stop at the ruins of Dunluce Castle. These castle ruins are famous for being the best castle ruins in Ireland to photograph. Making the average amateur photographer look like a professional. Go to the Giant's Causeway, formed from about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns. Enjoy around 1.5 hours at the UNESCO World Heritage Site and get up close to the hexagonal columns, often referred to as the "8th Wonder of the World." After, take in the fantastic views of the Irish Sea and all the Glens of Antrim. On a clear day, you can see all the way to Scotland and the Isle of Man. Spend around 15-20 minutes traveling along the romantic avenue of intertwined beech trees known as "Dark Hedges." Planted in the 18th century by the Stuart family, they remain a beautiful sight and were even used in the HBO series, Game of Thrones, and the Transformers movie. Along the route, enjoy unforgeable photo stops at Carricfergus Castle, the best-preserved Medieval Castle, and the harbor town of Carlough. Lastly, go to Belfast to see the capital of Northern Ireland and the birthplace of the Titanic ocean liner. Stop next to Belfast City Hall and spend approximately 1 hour exploring the city. Do some sightseeing, shopping, and grab some food before continuing the journey home.

Daniel and Alex have been awesome hosts the entire trip, giving good quality talks and really useful information. The views were awesome, and this is a great trip to see a lot of things at once, but I think each one of them merits a little more time than a couple of hours. Totally suggested.

Brilliant coach trip from Dublin to Northern Ireland via the Causways, Carrick a rede and dark hedges with a stop off in Belfast. Lovely coach with very friendly driver, Mick and tour guide Neil who sang songs, played guitar and who was very informative about all places on route. Fantastic day out and would highly recommend from student age upward as nothing to keep small children amused.

Great bus tour. Niall the tour guide made the trip fun and George was a great bus driver. As a solo traveler, it was a great way to see more of the country. Be aware that there aren't charging ports on some of the buses for phones, so bring a portable charger if you have one. You also only get an hr in Belfast, so plan your time wisely.
