Full description
Day 1: Dublin to Connemara
One the first day of your Southern Ireland adventure you will enjoy The Kings Boat Tour along the Boyne river, a sure way to have a scenic and relaxing start to your tour. You will follow this up with a gentle evening walk around the amazing Diamond Hill, Connemara.
Day 2: Connemara
Enjoy a free day at your own expense and feel free to consult your friendly and informative tour guides about recommendations for things to do on your free day of leisure. Go kayaking through Killary Fjord or mountain biking through the Lost Valleys of Connemara, there's a whole heap of things to choose from.
Day 3: Inis Mor and Cliffs of Moher
Spend a whole day on the Gaelic speaking island of Inis Mor. Take a pleasant walk along the Atlantic edge to the highest point of the Cliffs of Moher and treat yourself to stunning panoramic views, the likes of which you can't see anywhere else in the world.
Day 4: Killarney National Park
Enjoy a free day to fully explore everything on offer in the Killarney National Park. You can choose to go kayaking on the lakes of Killarney, rock climbing or hiking through glaciated valleys, biking through the National park, climb Torc Mountain for amazing views, or just enjoy the stunning scenery.
Day 5: Killarney to Valentia Island
Take part in a moderate walk to Valentia Island and Bray Head (included). You can choose to take a boat trip around the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Skellig Islands or choose to hire a bike and discover the island at your own pace. The evening will consist of stargazing at Kerry's Dark Sky Reserve.
Day 6: Valentia Island to Dingle Peninsula
Spend a day at Inch Beach, you'll have plenty of time to wander along the peninsula of sand or opt to go surfing in the wild Atlantic ocean. In the afternoon, pay a visit to the Dingle Whiskey Distillery.
Day 7: Full day tour of the Dingle Peninsula
On the 7th day, you will enjoy the scenic Slea Head drive and take part in a few hours of exploration around Dunmore Head.
Day 8: Dingle to Cork
Take some free time to wander the streets of Cork, with some fantastic sights and attractions to see and do. Franciscan Well Brewery, a half day trip to Blarney Castle and Stone or a visit to the ancient site of St Finbarr’s Cathedral, there is plenty to choose from.
Day 9: Cork to Kilkenny
Visit the imposing Rock of Cashel, once the seat of the Kings of Munster. You will also get to take a walking tour around the medieval mile of Kilkenny City.
Day 10: Kilkenny to Dublin
Enjoy a cultural and heritage experience where you will witness firsthand the ancient Celtic game of Hurling. Finish your 10-day adventure with a visit to the monastic city of Glendalough.
