  • Discover the Garden of Ireland, County Wicklow
  • Learn how a real sheep farm functions
  • Marvel at the beautiful Wicklow Mountains
Full description

Your day tour to Wicklow departs from Suffolk Street, outside the old stone church, in Dublin. Experience the working side of Wicklow with a visit to a working Irish sheep farm.

Meet your friendly local farmer, who will introduce you to farm life, like the diverse farming practices of sheep farming and the commands used to control the sheepdogs.

The highlight of this stop is a sheepdog exhibition where the farmer will corral the sheep with their trusty border collies.

After a scenic rural drive, stop off in Hollywood also known as 'the original Hollywood.' Then stop for lunch in Laragh (lunch not included).

Then head to the beautiful valley and monastic site of Glendalough, where Saint Kevin settled in the 6th century. Here you will have 1.5 hours to discover the area, the visitor center, and St. Kevin's Church. Continue through the scenic Wicklow Gap, journeying along the military road which was built after the 1798 rebellion in an attempt to flush out the rebels hiding in the Wicklow Mountains.

Take your picture at the "P.S. I Love You" bridge and see Lough Tay, surrounded by blanket bog and mountain peaks.

Natasha was THE best tour guide I’ve had in years, there was almost no time to see the Guinness Lake (Lough Tay) but she did her best and took us anyways because she knew I am a HUGE Vikings (TV show) fan and that show was filmed there, could not recommend her enough, she was also filled with information and fun facts about all of Ireland which kept us learning for the full 9 hours, I went alone and had the greatest time, I’m so glad I did it, thank you so so much Natasha! ☘️

Recommend it to anyone visiting Ireland for a few days! Will be coming back again and dragging my sister with me this time. I really enjoyed the view at Wicklow, it was beautiful and the sun made it so much better! We also stopped by this small town for lunch and the cafe was so cozy.

There was a guide who tried to make everyone understand what he had to say to us. We have also experienced this differently. The program was good, not too many goals, but not too few either. You have to see nature. All in all a very nice trip, with perfect weather. You should definitely have seen it.
