Journey back in time by almost 1,000 years as you enter Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin. Built circa 1028, the sacred monument is perfectly located in the heart of the city's medieval center and features a beautiful interior and the largest crypt in Ireland. Constructed in the early 12th century, and the oldest structure still in use in Dublin today, the crypt is home to some fascinating memorials and curiosities. Look at the treasury, and see the mummified cat and rat. According to cathedral lore, the cat chased the rat into the pipe of an organ and both became stuck. They are mentioned by James Joyce in "Finnegans Wake" and are known locally - with typical Dublin wit - as "Tom and Jerry." Follow in the footsteps of the pilgrims who beat a path to the church in the Middle Ages. Learn about the important collection of relics in the church. What people are saying about Dublin

Kevin is the best! Took us all over to have some tasty treats and shared experiences and stories the entire time. You got to order what you wanted but he gave great suggestions. I did this (and his beer tour) my first day to get my bearings and it wasn't a mistake! Make sure you go out of your comfort zone and try something new (brown bread ice cream was surprisingly delicious!). Kevin is great and loves his city and it shows. This tour is a must!

My guide was Dave. He was so knowledgeable about the history of Dublin. He showed me must see sights but also sights off the beaten trail. He put together an enjoyable experience that helped me show the most of Dublin in only three hours! I highly recommend this experience especially if you don’t know where to start exploring.

Kevin is a wealth of information about his city, and exudes a true caring for his clients. We covered a lot of territory, and an abundance of food! Next time, I will opt for smaller portions. Haha! Thanks for the fun day!

Great concept. We (the family) could set the pace ourselves, got to know Dublin and solved the mystery:))) We are ready for the next Solve A Mystery.

Very pleasant guide. Nice tour with lots of facts and information. Top!
