I chose the red Hop on Bus because mobile vouchers were accepted. The green Hop on Bus did not accept mobile vouchers. There were at least two green buses to every red bus that came to a bus stop. Wait time was 20-30 minutes. I purchased a two day pass in order to get around Dublin. Had to eventually pay for a taxi anyway. An hour plus ride from the first stop to the half way point where our lodging was located. Another hour through to the end of the tour.

A nice trip if you want to see the city in its entirety

The ride is nice, the guide is complete and it is easy to understand. The headphones, however, are disposable and many do not work or work only partially (one in two headphones). The meeting with the bus, then, is on the main road not on the street indicated on the ticket (that is the office)

The audio comments are not often at the same time as when we pass by bus, it can be complicated to understand what building he is talking about. In addition, the bus waiting time is very long, we had the time to see competing companies pass twice while our bus was still not passed ... When the weather is nice it can be passed but in the open wind and with rain it was really unpleasant because there are no bus shelters.
