Full description
Gain a deeper insight into the world of hurling. Over four hours you will learn all about the history of Hurling and it's important place in Irish culture. The experience includes a one-hour audio visual presentation, 90-minutes skills learning, and 30 minutes of fun games.  Through coaching, practice, and games, you will learn why this amazing sport captures the attention of people all over the world. Your experienced and passionate coaches will ensure that you have a thoroughly enjoyable and fun experience, and can field any questions you may have about hurling throughout the activity. You will be kitted out with a hurley (a wooden stick), sliotar (a small leather ball), and a helmet, before learning the basic skills of hurling as well as some more complex skills. You'll leave this activity with great memories of the beautiful game of hurling, as well as plenty of great photo and video memories to take with you.
  • Pickup and drop-off in Dublin City from outside the Guinness Storehouse every Saturday and Sunday morning at 11:30 AM
