    Experience the sweet side of Düsseldorf on this guided tour.  Your guide will take you on a culinary exploration of old town, sharing knowledge about the food as well as the history of this exciting town.  Though the city and the old town is famous for beer, it also has an abundance of great cafés and pastry shops. Explore the old town and stop at 6 locations, learning fun facts about the city as you go. Indulge in some sweet treat at each venue, including regional specialities, international treats like Macaron, a danish Wienerbrød, Italian Amaretti, or an Assabeh from Lebanon. You'll also visit the famous chocolate shop between Carlsplatz and Königsallee. Try the delicious regional chocolate-speciality, called "Bützchen" (a little kiss).

      I gave my boyfriend the "Sweet Treats Tour in Düsseldorf" for his birthday and we were both very excited. Our guide, Philipp, gave us many small delicacies to try and we were spoiled with a unique culinary experience. We also learned a lot of background information about the respective cafés. The tour is especially recommended for those with a sweet tooth :)

      Our JGA was a great success! Great tour, great guide and we experienced Düsseldorf from its sweet side like never before. Mixed with humor and a bit of history, it never gets boring! The delicacies were super varied and it never got boring. Also great: It is not a course event. You don't have to enter a shop and you still get everything to try. If you like, you can of course buy additional items afterwards, but everything is totally free and without compulsion. Full marks for this tour!
