Our tour guide was very personable and wanted to give us as much information as possible. Very easy to get into the tour. You stand by the main entrance and wait for an employee to scan your booking and let you inside. Note - you have to pay 3 euro to take any photos at all inside the Opera... I personally think this is a rip-off and would have probably just pulled up images on my phone after the tour if I wanted them. I only ended up taking a few photos because the 45 minute guided tour flew by.
Not your usual tourist tour. The guide combines historical knowledge with political insights. You learn to see Dresden in a different light. Lots of information on Kurt Vonnegut - of course - placing him in the time and location of 1945
Everyone in my group truly enjoyed the tour. It was not too long and touched on many interesting aspects of the Semperoper. The guide was knowledgeable and welcoming of our questions.
The guide was really really good, she was really nice and enthusiastic , which got us a great feeling for the whole tour. We would definitely recommend it to everyone.
We had a great time through out. Couldn’t find any option other than potato soup for vegetarians. If you can bring your eatables it would be more enjoyable.
