Full description
Take a boat cruise on a traditional steam paddler from Dresden to Diesbar-Seußlitz. Admire the views of the magnificent old castles and the Saxon vineyards on your 3-hour cruise. The impressive Albrechtsburg with the cathedral in Meißen can already be seen from far away while you make your way to the scenic wine villages on the shores of the Elbe. After your arrival start with a hike through the vineyards and explore Germany's smallest wine region with its distinctive wines. Enjoy a hearty buffet with your wine tasting in the heart of the vineyards and sample 5 different wines from the region. Some of the local grape varieties can only be found in Saxony. Their rarity has made them a sought after and expensive product. End your tour in a rustic winegrower's house and afterwards drive back to Dresden.

This was a very authentic local experience and not at all touristy. It was helpful to have some knowledge of German, although the guide had enough English to make it also an enjoyable experience without being able to speak German. There was a surprising amount of wine consumed, and very little hiking- just a gentle stroll from one drinking spot to another!

Dear Marcel, thank you for a wonderful eventful day. Everything was very well organized, the winemaker's from your mother was really awesome, very plentiful, lovingly designed and great taste. A big thank you again. Our tour group was in a very good mood and that got better with every wine tasting. Thanks also to your dad who took care that a fine drop was always ready to hand. Hi, Hi, hi a very successful day
