What people are saying about Dresden
Jan our guide, picked us up in the morning perfect in time. we drove by car to our first stop for the Elbsandsteingebirge at the german side of the mountains. it was a short walk (500m) to the postcard view everybody knows. Nearly no tourist in the moning around, (Jan really made an ideal tour schedule for the whole day). The view was stunning and we had a lot of time for pictures. after this we drove by car to the czech side of the mountains to see the Prebisch-Door. For this we had a 2 km walk up to the side through the forrest (perfect air and very relaxed). Then we went back and we took a bus for a short ride to a restaurant for lunch. It was very delicious after the walking and hiking, a great stop to releax. Then we walked through the forrest for a boat-trip. The walk was stunning, because of the nature. The boat-ride was great and funny. And in the end we went by car back home. In total a great tour, well balanced by Jan (super friendly, informativ, great company)
The tour started with the visit at the opera house, which already set high expectations for the rest of the tour . Make sure you’re on time. We were 3minutes later and the tour started without us, with no way for us to get into the opera house. However, an employee came outside to check for any late comers, which was helpful. Overall, the tour lasts 2.5 hours. Be prepared to do a lot of walking and standing. As for the guide, he was very knowledgeable and engaging. Would highly recommend this tour!
Jan, my tour guide was really good and communicates well. It was a great trip with him. There was more of hiking, so definitely comfortable shoes are required. Though it was a rainy day, the tour guide Jan had all required equipments and had a great visit to the National park. Lovely location and great lunch and drinks.
I had a wonderful experience in countess von Brühl's company for 2 hours. The countess had a profound knowledge of the history of Saxony, Pillnitz Castle and court life in the 18th century. She was kind, charming and made me feel welcome, and she was stunningly beautiful in her costume. It was 2 fantastic hours!
Children and adults enjoyed this entertaining walk through Dresden's history and beautiful old town. Our guide has a great knowledge about the Saxon mobility and explained everything in a very enjoyable way. We could listen him for hours.
