Day 1: Chiang Mai – Elephant Conservation – Trek to waterfall – Overnight at Baan Anatta 08h00 Depart from the hotel and spend just a couple hours to Mae Tang district in the northern part of Chiang Mai. 09h00 Visit Orchid Farm and Local Fresh Market to taste some Jungle Foods. 10h00 Hand-on experience to take care of the elephant, finding and feeding foods to the elephant, making some herb for them and take a bath with the elephant. 12h30 Lunch at Elephant Farm 14h00 Trek about 1 hour to a natural waterfall, relax and swim, then trek back around 1 hour to meeting point 17h00 Check-in at Baan Anatta, the eco accommodation on the riverbank (No Air – condition Room but can provide the hot shower) 18h30 Dinner at Resort Day 2: Baan Anatta - Chiang Dao Cave – Biking in Fang Valley – Mini Cooking Dinner – Fang 08h00 Have an early breakfast at the resort before being transferred to Chiang Dao cave 10h00 Visit Chiang Dao Cave, the one of Thailand's most famous a spectacular system of stalactites and stalagmites 12h00 Lunch at local Restaurant as at Kolak Thai Date Farm 13h00 Continue to Fang Valley. 14h00 Arrive at Phumanee Lahu Home Hotel to learn the culture of the Lahu hill tribe and the amazing story of the Chaikor family. Here, you will also get to see exhibits of the traditional Lahu costumes and tools. 15h00 Spend a lovely afternoon to explore a local market and buy some vegetables and ingredients needed during the cooking class and cycling trip around the community to visit an old temple of Fang town. 17h00 Return back to the hotel for a cooking class. Cook and taste your own Dinner Day 3: Fang – Doi Pumeun – Chiang Mai 08h00 After breakfast at hotel 09h00 Start the trip to Doi Pu Muen by pick-up truck uphill for about an hour. Doi Pu Muen is a mountain and highland which is 1,306 meters above sea level with cooling temperatures all year round. 10h00 Arrive Doi Pu Muen, the Christian Tribe who mainly grows tea and coffee as their cash crops. Visit tea plantations and have fun learning how to pick tea leaves like a local, as well as heat and dry tea leaves, also taste some good tea from Lahu people. 11h30 Learn a local wisdom about how to cook with bamboo for authentic Lahu lunch at Homestay 13h00 End up the Lahu community with a traditional hill tribe performance as well as their history and legend. 14h00 Fresh up at Doi Pu Muen Waterfall 15h00 Time to head back to Chiang Mai city 18h00 Arrive and transfer to your hotel.
