We had a great time with Jawith (I hope that's the correct spelling). Obviously, we had an opportunity to see all of the sites in Doha. But what was particularly impressive was Jawith's knowledge and openness about the country and city. He went the extra mile and arranged a place where we could get some takeaway food before catching our onward flight. A great experience and a great person!

A great city tour experience

We had a half day tour of Doha, Qatar, in late December 2018. Our guide, Khan, was professional, informative, knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. He made the tour an even greater experience. After being picked up from the airport, we had a short drive to the Museum of Islamic Art with its fascinating exhibits. The building is unique and has the beautiful city skyline as its background. After some sightseeing by car, we changed vehicle for a short drive in a golf cart around the cultural centre of the Katara. Next, we visited the artificial island, Pearl, with its fascinating mixture of buildings. The final stop was at the Souq Waqif bazaar with its unique range of shops, handicrafts, and folk art.
