Brilliant day out, taking in key sites with a great guide and experien
Our guide Ahmed Ettler and his driver were excellent from the start. Met on time, and driven and escorted everywhere with minimum of fuss. Ahmed was very knowledgable, starting our day out with a short yet adequate visit to Memphis, then on to the Step Pyramid and tombs at Sakkara, then a break for an good open buffet lunch (included in the price) in Giza, finishing with a spectacular tour of the Great Pyramids. Ahmed tactfully advised us how to carefully manage souvenir sellers and camel drivers at the various sites visited, without our causing offence. We would like to book this very courteous and helpful team again for more excursions whilst here, and highly recommend both guide and driver.
Awesome! Great way to see the Great Pyramid
+ Value for money. + Worth the pay to see the great Pyramid. + The tour guide is helpful and always gives tips on what to do and what not to do with people and activities in the surrounding. - One thing I suggest, if we could avoid in future trips, is stopover to stores selling stuff. Although we were informed that it is not compulsary to buy, we could have done other things. Those with something in mind to buy can do that separately, and not during the tour.
Impressive sites made even better by a knowledgeable guide
Great tour all around. Amro is a very knowledgeable and patient guide. I was adamant about the camel ride but, having done it, would definitely recommend it. You get to see the pyramids from a completely different angle. The camel walkers are also very friendly and take great pictures of you on the camel with the pyramids on the background. be ready to hand out tips though, as it definitely expected.
