1. From Djerba: Full-Day Ksar Ghilane Hot Spring and Villages

Get off the beaten track and discover the oasis of Ksar Ghilane. Enjoy scenic views as you travel along the Roman road, and keep an eye out for flocks of sheep and even camels. Visit local villages and savor a freshly made tea at a local's home. After pickup at your hotel, leave the island of Djerba and travel to Ksar Ghilane. Next, enjoy some free time to take a walk on the dunes, go for a camel ride, or explore the dunes on a quad tour before sitting down to a local meal around the hot spring. After lunch, return to the jeep and head to the Berber village of Matmata. Stop in the village of Tamazret, a village flooded in 1969 where only a few families still live. Continue to discover a troglodyte home where your Berber host will welcome you with a warming tea of rosemary, olive oil, and honey that he has prepared himself. After this meeting, make your way to Djerba with a final stop at Toujane, a Berber village of ocher color hidden discreetly between two mountains.

We did the day tour and loved it! There was a lot worth seeing and you got an interesting impression of the culture and history of the Tunisians. Our tour guide Salem and driver Abdoul did a great job! Salem explained many interesting details about the various sights, easily switching from fluent German to French to explain the same to the other fellow travelers. The man even knows Schwitzer-Dütsch. Insanity!! The high temperatures were very bearable due to the dry heat and the long stays in the well air-conditioned jeep. You get a lot for the relatively low price. I 100% recommend this tour!

The best lady guide showed us many places telling us very interestingly, revealing many local customs, she took care of us at every moment. A great alternative to sightseeing in large groups, we were driving 6 people in an off-road car. Great adventure, we visited many local places, we got to know Arabic phrases. You can feel safe with an abdul driver. Juju you are the Best tour guide

Contact with the guide via WhatsApp works without any problems - very friendly. Unfortunately we couldn't see any dolphins on the way to the blue lagoon, but on the way back the organizer took extra time and then we could see dolphins. Anyone who wanted could also jump into the sea and hope to meet a dolphin.

We counted with Nebil, a really expierienced guide who went over every single detail regarding Tunísia history and more. Cheni and the surroundings deserve a visit!

Such a good trip- thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it! Such good entertainment, even if you don’t have kids
