What people are saying about Diocletian's Palace

This was simply incredible. We were the only people on the tour, and therefore were effectly treated to a 4.5 hr private tour of Split. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the area, and seemed to know the answer to literally anything we asked. He was funny, passionate, and well-spoken, and went above and beyond the normal level of detail any regular guided tour would provide. If you ever feel like regular tours rush or cater to the lowest common denominator, this is the tour for you! This was one of the best parts of our trip.

We really enjoy our gastron walking tour. Our guide Olga was really friendly and very informative. We experienced delicious meats and cheese in the Green Market while hearing about the history of Split. The tour of the palace was really interesting and Olga was very happy to answer any questions we had. Our lunch was in a beautiful restaurant and was served with local wine. Overall we had a wonderful morning and would highly recommend it anyone visiting Split.

This was a very enjoyable trip with our hosts Sunny and Nico. Very informative and we had a blast with the banter. It was about 12 degrees so some advice for others, do not wear shorts and a tshirt. You will be cold! Very interesting places to see. A must to book if you are visiting Split!

Doris was out guide and we were the only ones on the tour, she was very informative and we had lots of nibbles in the market. She gave us a good overview of the different foods and some history. The restaurant for lunch had amazing wine and she gave us some good information about that too.

Great experience and outstandingly beautiful place to go for the day, we also went to the town of Skradin for a walk and food was amazing Mario our guide was amazing too
