Join Alpine Club of Himalaya’s trekking expedition to Annapurna I, the 10th highest mountain in the world at 8,091m (26,545 ft) above sea level. Apart from the Annapurna 1, the Annapurna massif includes thirteen peaks over 7,000 meters and sixteen more over 6,000 meters. Our journey begins in Pokhara, widely known as the ‘Lake City. Pokhara offers magnificent views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhare, and Annapurna. Throughout our journey, we will encounter cascading waterfalls, beautiful villages, terraced farmlands, lush rhododendron forests, and amazing mountains. Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft) Welcome Dinner Day 2: Fly to Pokhara (823m/2,700ft) 30-minute flight, trek to Ghandruk (1940m/6360 ft): 5 – 6 hours trek We take a flight to Pokhara, the right side of the plane will offer the best views of The Himalayas. Representatives of Alpine Club of Himalaya will pick you up at the Pokhara airport. Then We take a 1 hour and 20-minute drive to Nayapul (new bridge) on the main road near Birethanti and begin our trek. From Birethanti, we trek to Ghandruk, a beautiful village mostly inhabited by the Gurung community. If time permits, you can visit the Gurung museum. Overnight in Ghandruk. Meals- Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Day 3: Ghandruk to Chhomrong (2170m/7120ft): 5 – 6 hours Day 4: Chhomrong to Bamboo (2310m/7578ft): 4 – 5 hours Day 5: Bamboo to Deurali (3230m/10,595ft): 3 – 4 hours Day 6: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m/13,545ft) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700m/12135ft): 5 – 6 hours Day 7: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo: 7 – 8 hours We climb gently through a river bed then over a steep trail over to the mountainside, and then a somewhat strenuous hike from Bagar to Machhapuchhre Base Camp. From the base camp, we get excellent views of the majestic Machhapuchhre along with Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandharvachuli, and Gangapurna. The vegetation becomes scarce thereafter and the path widens as we enter the Annapurna sanctuary. From here, we get sensational views of the near-vertical south face of Annapurna towering above us. The sanctuary boasts of a dynamic view without anything impeding the 360-degree panorama. From the base camp, we again get to savor mesmerizing views of the Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, and other peaks. Overnight at Annapurna Base Camp. Start your trek to Annapurna Base Camp by meandering through lowland hillsides abundant with golden rice terraces. Explore small villages to witness the different cultures and lifestyles of the local people. Along the way, trek past the stunning Annapurna South and Machapuchare (‘fishtail’) peaks. Continue to the base camp to admire the great peaks of Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Fang, Annapurna, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, and Machapuchare. Marvel at the deep glacier-covered amphitheater they create. Stay in teahouses and lodges where delicious hot meals are provided. Itinerary: Day 1: Get picked up from Kathmandu by private car and driven to Pokhara. Relax during the 6-hour drive and enjoy the views through the window. Stay overnight in a hotel in Pokhara. Day 2: After breakfast in your hotel, hop in the private vehicle for a 30-minute drive to Phedi, where you start the trekking excursion. Day 7: Start heading down from the base camp. Walk for 5-6 hours to Dovan (2,600 m), where overnight accommodation and dinner await. Day 8: Walk for 5 hours from Dovan to Chhomrong (2,170 m). Stay overnight at a teahouse. Day 9: Trek from Chhomrong to Ghandrung (1,940 m). Walk for 4 hours and stay overnight at a teahouse. Day 10: On the final day of trekking, walk for 3 hours from Ghandrung to Nayapul (1,070 m). Be driven back to Pokhara, where you will spend the night at a hotel. Day 11: Take a 6-hour bus drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu, where you will spend the night in a hotel.

Opened in 2012, this trek offers beautiful views with rough and rugged trails and fewer crowds. Start your adventure with pickup from Kathmandu and head to Pokhara and onward to Phedi. Hit the trails in Phedi and take the scenic trail via the villages of Dhampus and Deurali, along with other small villages. Traverse lush forests, rural villages, terraced farmland, and roaring rivers. Experience the Gurung and Magar traditions and cultures in the villages. Trek through rhododendron forests with views of the Hiuchuli, Macchapuchre, and Dhaulagiri Peaks. Reach the high camp of Mardi Himal at 2 miles (3540 meters) above sea level. From there, descend to the villages of Sidhing and Lumre and then drive back to Pokhara and then on to Kathmandu.

Annapurna Base Camp trek 4130m is surrounded by mountains. This trek is one of the best trekking in Nepal. You will arrive in just 4 days at the base camp. There are nice lodges to stay over night and provide good food. Your professional guide will led you in trekking and porter will carry your personal items. It is bellow zero in winter and fairly cold in spring as well as. You have to be prepare with warm clothing to enjoy the trekking. There are no transportation facilities once you start trekking. There are heli services for emergency evacuation services on request. You are advise to bring your personal medications and further more your guide will have first aid box. You are advise to go slowly to avoid mountain sickness. Day 01 Drive to Matkyu and trek to Chmrong 2170m 2 hr drive and 4 hr walk: Your trekking guide and crew will meet you at your hotel. The guide will brief about the program and quick check up about the gear and etc. Your guide will be ready with Jeep drive (Matkyu via Nayapul along Modi Khola river. You have to check in at Birethenti check post. It will take 1:30 hr trek to Jinu Danda where you will have lunch at local restaurant. After Lunch, the trail sharply hike to Chmrong. You will have a night rest at local guest house. Dinner will be serving at lodge. You will enjoy local people at field. Chmrong is a nice Gurung village with Modi Khola valley view. Day 02 Trek to Doban 2600m 5 hr: Breakfast will be serving at your guest house. Pack your things and trek to Doban village. Descend down to small stream and hike to Sinuwa where you will stop for lunch. Continue hike to Doban for night rest. After dinner night rest. Day 03: Trek to Deurali 3230m: The trail passes through the forest and bamboo dense. This is an average day. Lunch will be at Himalaya. Finally arrive a nice village Deurali for night rest at local guest house. Day 04 Trek to base camp 4110m 5hr: Fishtail and Gangapurna starts to be seen from here. while you will be gaining high, more view start to be seen. Lunch will be at Machhapuchare Base Camp 3700m. Continue hiking to Annapurna base camp. You are gaining height and you may feel difficulty breathing. Check in to guest house and enjoy tea/ coffee. Later explore around Base camp. After early dinner, night rest. Day 05 Back to Bamboo 4-5 hr: Wake early in the morning to see the sunrise and Majestic Himalayan view. Take enough photograph. Enjoy the breakfast and start return. It is easy to get down and finally arrive to Bamboo to spend night. Night rest after dinner. Day 06 Junu Danda 5hr: Take an easy day. After breakfast start your trek down to Jinu Danda where you can enjoy Natural Hot Spring. Night rest at guest house. Day 07 Drive back to Pokhara 2hr: Wake up and enjoy the last breakfast in the mountain. Pack your things and walk for couple of hour and your jeep will be waiting to take you back to Pokhara. Drop to your hotel and end the trek.

Embark on a 9-day Mardi Himal trek that takes you across the unspoiled lands of the Annapurna Region. Providing spectacular vistas of the mountain ranges and central hills, find an off beaten experience with no crowds and secluded trails. Day 1: Fly to Pokhara (884 meters/2900 feet) Drive to Phedi and Trek to Deurali Eat breakfast and head towards the domestic airport andto catch a flight to Pokhara. Along the way, witness spectacular views of the snowcapped mountain ranges to the north. Upon reaching Pokhara, proceed on a short drive toward Phedi. Phedi is the starting point of various treks of the region. From there, following a series of well-maintained stone stairs start the trek. As you progress on the trail, traverse along the deep wilderness of the region before reaching the village of Dhampus. After a short lunch break, start the trek. Passing forested sections and agricultural belts, you reach the small village of Deurali perched on a ridge. Day 2: Deurali to Forest Camp (2,500 meters/ 8,202 feet) Day 3: Camp to Low Camp (2,990 meters/ 9,809 feet) Day 4: Low Camp to High Camp (3,580 meters/ 11,745 feet) Day 5: High camp to Upper viewpoint, Return back to High Camp (3,580 meters/ 11,745 feet) Day 6: High camp to Sidhing Village (1,885 meters/ 6,184 feet) Day 7: Trek Siding Village to Lwang village (1,460 meters/ 4,790 feet) approx. 5 hours Day 8: Lwang Village to Khora Muk (1 hour) and drive back to Pokhara (820 meters/ 2,690 feet), approx. 2 hours. On the last day of the trek, head towards Khora Muk. Next, head on a short drive towards Pokhara. Along the way witness views of the central hills and greater Himalayan range. Once there, find your accommodation. In the afternoon, head out to explore the city of lakes. Stroll by the banks of Phewa Lake and visit various pubs and restaurants around. Day 9: Fly back to Kathamandu
