What people are saying about Denarau Island

Very enjoyable and well worth taking

We were picked up at our hotel and taken to the Port where we boarded the Captain Cook boat while the staff played and sang music and when onboard we were given a champagne or juice, We were all sat at tables while the music played and the cruise began. Drinks were offered for purchase and the wonderful guide began to tell us all about the islands and where we were going. Although a very overcast and cloudy night, still managed a bit of a sunset. We were then taken in to the buffet to eat and the food was delicious. Then followed a show which not only all the staff (including the Captain) performed in doing local Fijian dancing and music, after we were all encouraged to get up and join in. Very enjoyable evening.

Food was overcooked, crew was great.

The crew was great - friendly, helpful and interested in giving everyone a good time. The food was the worst part. The steak and lobster were especially overcooked and difficult to eat (steak) or enjoy (lobster)

The visit to the village is a highlight.

The tour is good for people who do not like walking a lot. Good for introduction to fijian village.
