Darwin: Premium Litchfield Regional Small Group Day Tour

1. Darwin: Premium Litchfield Regional Small Group Day Tour

Your day begins around 07:30, with pick-ups in the city at your accommodation doorstep before heading out for an early morning dip and morning tea in the refreshing crystal clear waters of Berry Springs. Paddle around and watch the many fish, look for turtles, or sit casually under the waterfall - it's your difficult decision to make! Having set the tone for the day, you will leave Berry Springs and re-join the Stuart Highway on your journey to Batchelor Town. Along the way, get to know the landscape and history of the Top End as your local guide lets you in on the past and present before arriving at Batchelor Town. Here we take the time to enjoy the Batchelor Museum which showcases many personal stories of the people and events which shaped the Northern Territory and Australia as a whole. It is also the perfect spot to sit and enjoy a gourmet lunch in peace and quiet in an exclusive lunch spot. After lunch you will enter Litchfield National Park and begin to discover why this is the most popular park in the Territory. Full of places to visit, the list includes the iconic Cathedral and Magnetic Termite mounds, Wangi Falls, Tolmer Falls, and Tabletop Wetland. There is ample opportunity here to go for a stroll along the rainforest shaded creeks, or just sit and relax. What people are saying about Darwin

Clancy was full of zing and zest; information and inspiration. Time at Bachelor was interesting, but focus s/be on activities at Batchelor, not the bombing of Darwin which is well covered by museums in Darwin. Suggest guides avoid the film there. Snacks and lunch tasty and refreshing. Thoughtful touches such as frozen towels appreciated
