My Son Holy Land was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999. Many parts of the sanctuary have been ruined by both time and war, but it is still worth witnessing the amazing religious structures and getting to understand the unique Cham culture. Traverse the road to My Son in a restored army Jeep through the countryside with breathtaking views. After pick-up from your hotel in Danang or Hoian, the Jeep will take you to My Son Holy Land with several stops to have a closer look at local life and take photographs. Upon arrival, have a brief introduction about the history, culture and Indian Hindu influence on the Champa Kingdom, then take a walk to visit the remains of the carefully-crafted red brick temples with monuments and epitaphs, which are considered unique and without equal in South East Asia.
