  • The Original Morning Delos Guided Tour

    1. The Original Morning Delos Guided Tour

This 4-hour morning tour begins with a 30-minute boat ride from Mykonos to Delos.

Once you arrive on Delos you will receive an introduction to the ancient and sacred site. With your guide, you will explore the narrow city streets.

Marvel at the impressive house of Dionysus and the exceptional mosaics, well-preserved marble columns, and wall paintings. See other monuments in the urban area, including the Theater of Delos.

Take a walk along the main street to the market and the sanctuary zone. Here you’ll find the Stoa of Phillipe, the Propylaia, the Colossus of the Naxians, and the Temple of Apollo.

Amazing experience!! Our guide was a very nice lady who took care of all of us during the tour under the sun and with a very high temperature. She was very interactive when giving her explanations. And the way she explained it all was so interesting, even with such hot day you just wanted her to keep talking and follow her through the complex. I would go back and do it again! And I strongly recommend everyone thinking of taking the tour to do so! Also, they had a very nice old man selling water in the boat, so you could buy in case you didn’t bring, and same when going back, but if you ran out of water! The price was just 0,5€!!! Never seen before!! It’s the supermarket price!! Loved the fact they didn’t even try to take advantage of being the only ones selling water!! Amazing experience every detail was amazing!!

Great experience! Would highly recommend to anyone. Picked us up on time from agreed location in high end transportation. Tour guide was very friendly and explained the day well.. Had brought our own water but offered bottles anyway! After showing us a vineyard and how vines grow, Brought to great vineyard with lovely host who explained everything well, without killing us with detail. Very nice selection of wines for tasting with some cheese and bread. Ended up buying a couple bottles to bring back with us and they also offered shipping for a fee. Next stop was cooking class just down the road at amazing location. Again everyone so nice; our chef was very friendly and funny, mixing explanations of what he was making with his own stories and history of the food etc. Got to eat what we helped make (with more wine) and then taken up to the restaurant for lunch, which was freshly prepared versions of what we made as well as our own. Again more wine. And a dessert! Definitely worth doing!!
