After the booking has been made, your guide will coordinate your preferred entrance time and organize everything necessary to make sure your experience is personalised and special. The day prior, the local partner will include you in a Whatsapp group with your guide and driver, to ensure you have a point of contact throughout your experience. On the day of your tour, your driver will pick you up at the time coordinated as per the prior communication and bring you safely and comfortably to the train station. From here, you'll check-in and enjoy your ride on the train to the Machu Picchu village, Aguas Calientes.
Outside of the train station, your guide will wait and accompany you to the bus stop, from which, you'll head to the Machu Picchu entrance. Now, it's time to say "hello" to the most beautiful and interesting place in Peru, Machu Picchu. Thanks to the privacy, you have full flexibility on breaks and where you'd like to go. Most travellers prefer to first head to the left terrace from where postcard-like pictures can be shot by your guide (who loves to take pictures). From here it's time to head on and explore the fascinating ruins and their characteristics. Let the guide take you back in time, learn about the architecture as well as the history, the kind of details groups won't experience due to time restrictions as they rush through the archeological site.
At the end of your tour, you will have the chance to stay for a little longer at the final part of the archeological round-trip (Machu Picchu can only be visited by following one route, there is no chance of heading back, only forward), until you'd reach the exit. In this moment, it's time to say farewell to your guide. Keep your train time in mind and head to the bus back to Aguas Calientes on time. Here you can enjoy lunch before taking the train back to Ollantaytambo.
Your driver will await you here again at the same spot where he dropped you off in the morning. In Cusco in the evening, you'll be dropped off at your hotel, filled with memories that will remain for a lifetime.
