Hike the mountains near the city of Bogota. Although the majority of Bogota is quite flat, the city limits to the east include an incredible mountain range that follows Bogota’s territory lines from south to north. This mountain range is what is locally known as the East Hills. Start your day early, just after sunrise. Your guide will pick you up at your hotel and drive you to the starting point, right at the edge of the city.  There you will hike up for about one hour until you reach a perfect lookout with a privileged view overlooking the city. Along the hike, you will learn from your expert guide about the struggle between native and foreign species, the environmental issues that Bogotá is facing, and much more. Less than 2 hours' drive from the Colombian capital of Bogotá, Tobia features dramatic, tree-covered peaks. This is the perfect location to experience a pendulum jump and explore the stunning scenery from above. You bilingual private guide will pick you up from your chosen location at 9 am, then take you to Tobia. There, a certified instructor will take you through some basic instructions before you try out the the exhilarating jump. Rising 100 feet into the air, you are then safely released to free fall through the air before swinging backwards and forwards like a pendulum. The sensation is incomparable.  This activity is available any day of the week for groups of 6 or more people and on the weekends for groups of less than 6.
