What people are saying about Culloden Moor
I had a great time on my two day tour. I went the week after Hogmanay, so it was cold. But totally worth it! It was so beautiful seeing all of the architecture and just the colors of the Highlands. We went to see standing stones at Clava Cairn, the Hermitage, as well as the Glenfinan viaduct (to name a few) which is featured in Hardy Potter. Hearing that I was an Outlander fan-Michael, my tour guide tried to squeeze in any sights he thought I’d appreciate along the way. It really helped make my trip multidimensional, more than just staying in one city the whole time. It also took the stress of planning independent exploration and all the details that requires, off of me. This made it so I could relax and more fully enjoy my trip. Thanks you guys for helping make my trip memorable. Michael you were fantastic! Cheers
We saw a lot in only three days. Yes, there is a lot of bus riding, but I'm not sure what those complaining were expecting. It was during COVID restrictions, and the company was clear about expectations and provided a safe environment on the bus. Now, the bus was generally good. The minibus that had enough space and reclining seats. But on day two the bus was making so much noise it was rather annoying, and on the third day, it was borderline unbearable. Your guide was John, and he's a guide you'll hate loving. He's good with history as I was fact checking him. He was funny, accommodating and was going out of his way to grant some requests.
Amazing that the company ran the tour with numbers so depleted. A company that can be trusted to deliver and augurs well for another trip. Guide was amazing. Cheery and welcoming, efficient, extremely knowledgable and relayed the information in a conversational and interested way. We felt it was like a friend taking us on our i structional and very pleasant journey.
I would like to say a massive thank you to my guide Seana for my trip in early November. I live in Scotland and it was nice to be able to see so many beautiful places in one day. I was a a solo traveller and Seana was so kind and informative it felt like I was on a day trip with friends.
Had a wonderful experience exploring the Scottish Highlands and the Isle of Skye, would definitely like to come back again sometime. Our driver-cum-guide Stephen was amazing both with his witty jokes and his stories about Scottish history. Memories that would last forever!
