It is legendary for the tunnel system that stretches for over 220 km and is a popular attraction with both Vietnamese and foreign visitors. On this full-day trip, the drive will take you past rural rice paddy landscapes, where ducks and water buffalo swim in the waters at the edge of the road. With this scenery in view, it’s hard to imagine the destruction and deforestation of the area caused by bombs and mines when Cu Chi was labeled a free target zone. You’ll see evidence showing that the district was once a battleground. If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to fire an AK-47 you can find out at the Cu Chi Tunnels. This half day tour takes you to the Ben Duoc tunnels with fewer visitors coming so that you could have the best and personalized experiences exploring the Cu Chi Tunnels At around 7:45 to 8:00AM after picking up from your central hotels in District 1 or meet at the meeting point in Ho Chi Minh city then drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels, located in the countryside where you can see rice paddies along the road and ducks and water buffalo swimming in rivers. In the early morning, we will collect you from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and you will be accompanied by an English-speaking guide to the Cu Chi tunnels, located approximately 60 km away. Upon arrival, you will watch a documentary about the tunnels and discover how the locals crafted bamboo traps, rice paper, and rice wine. You will also have the opportunity to explore the intricate network of underground tunnels created by Vietnamese resistance fighters. Afterward, we will proceed to My Tho, which is one of the provinces that form the Mekong Delta region. A boat cruise along the upper Mekong will take you through a section of the area that features islands named after four animals found in Buddhist literature – Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Turtle. During this segment of the tour, you will gain insight into the everyday life of local Vietnamese and understand how their existence revolves around the River. Next, we will embark on a rowboat excursion along the small waterways. Here, you will witness the agricultural bounty of the delta region in the form of fruit orchards, coconut groves, and beekeeping farms. We will pause for you to savor some honey tea, seasonal fruit, fresh coconut candy, and southern Vietnamese traditional music. We disembark at a local family to enjoy tropical fruits, taste honey tea, honey wine, see how the local products are made, and enjoy a live local music performance performed by the villagers. Strolling along the countryside roads to get to know the locals going about their day. Relax with the peaceful atmosphere, then say goodbye and depart for Ho Chi Minh City. Around 6:50PM. Arrive Ho Chi Minh city. We take you back to your hotel.

Take a tour of the historic center of Ho Chi Minh City and visit the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, and War Remnants Museum, where you can see historic artifacts from the Vietnam War and first Indochina War with the colonial French. Then, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. **The Notre Dame Cathedral has been restored, so the guests just visit outside. Next, journey to the Cu Chi Tunnels and watch an introductory video about the history of the tunnels and life during the Vietnam War. Crawl through the tunnels to experience the Viet Cong's underground village firsthand. Sample some of the tea and cassava that the guerrillas used to survive, and get the chance to fire some guns at the rifle range. Then take the bus back to Ho Chi Minh City, where the tour will end between about 19:00 PM - 19:30 PM (time is subject to traffic).

07:30 am, pick you up from the hotel and depart for Vung Tau. 09:00 am, on arrival at Vung Tau and leisure time at Thuy Van beach (Back beach) - one of the nicest beaches in Vietnam with the shore runs for almost 10km, full of fine sands and white waves. Authentic Vietnamese lunch is served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Jesus Christ Statue, Thang Tam Temple (Whale Temple), Bach Dinh (a.k.a. Villa Blanche in French or White Palace in English), and Cape Nghinh Phong. Taking a short break. Back to Ho Chi Minh City around 18:00pm. End trip.

After pickup from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, drive to Tay Ninh to visit the Cao Dai Temple. This religious sect combines Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism and Christianity in its philosophy. Experience the prayer session at noon and admire the colorful, mysterious and marvelous architecture.   After lunch, visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an amazing underground system used by the Vietnamese to fight the Americans during the America and Vietnam War. You can crawl through the very narrow tunnels, made completely by hand during the war. Then watch a short documentary film about the Cu Chi Tunnels, available in a number of foreign languages.   Gain more knowledge of Vietnamese history, traditions, and culture. You can taste boiled tapioca with hot pandanus tea, the local food eaten by Vietnamese soldiers during the war. At the end of the tour your will be dropped off back in Ho Chi Minh City.
