At 9:30 AM sail east out of the bay past the Souda Fortress on a small uninhabited island. Either way, the White Mountains (Lefka Ori) will be in view, serving as the backdrop to the cruise. After dropping anchor, enjoy a swim or snorkel and play in crystal clear turquoise waters while a freshly cooked Cretan/Spartan lunch is prepared with Greek specialties such as local pasta, sautéed vegetables, fresh salad, mama’s olives, goat cheese and fresh bread with wine and beer to wash it down and a dessert of fresh yogurt and sweet fruit.  Following a relaxing meal sail back to the port as the sun starts to set, arriving back by around 5:30 PM. Having never used a SUP before, Socrates was exceptionally patient, friendly and full of encouragement as we learned the ropes. He taught us the basics and then started us from sitting down to standing up when we felt comfortable, and then a trip over to Lazareta Island, where we had a refreshment and walk around. Everything had been taken care of with dry bags, water, shoes and even a special surprise that was great fun. There was just two of us on this tour and it’s definitely the highlight of our time in Chania. We had a great time and couldn’t recommend this trip more.

Mario and Jared were outstanding instructors! Mario speaking French helped us enormously. Big difficulties at the beginning for the breathing due to the stress but they knew how to relax us quickly. Jared accompanied me throughout the diving year because he felt it reassured me and I really appreciated the attention. The experience itself was amazing! Magnificent fish, sea urchins, a mesmerizing blue sea. An experience not to be missed considering the adventure we had, the great companions and the unbeatable price! It would be a mistake not to consider this activity.

Angela and I came to Crete for our thanksgiving break looking for fun activities to do and we found scuba diving. We’ve never done it before and we’re both pretty nervous to do it, but our instructor Ioannis Almpantakis was the best. He gave us all the information we needed for our first time and was very patient with us. This was by far one of the best experiences of our lives. He is a great leader and you can tell he was very passionate about his job. If you get the chance to scuba dive definitely do it!

Incredible first dive! The staff/instructors are super friendly and professional, and the dive area itself is very pretty and “friendly” towards beginners.

Great fun, full of adventure and laughs and chats. So helpful and great teacher. 100% recommend
