Full description

Embark on a group tour from Rethymno to visit the charming ancient villages of Crete. Visit the quaint village of Spoli and discover the caves of Agia Galini, and the sandy beach of Matala, with plenty of time to explore on your own.

Start with pickup from your hotel by air-conditioned bus, then make your first stop at the village of Spili for 1 hour of free time. Walk the cobbled streets of a village with its well-known lion-head fountains. Browse the many stores and shopfronts selling traditional Cretan products.

The next stop is at the amphitheatrically built village of Agia Galini. Here will have 2 hours to explore the village. Admire the views of small, traditional houses and the harbor, the perfect place to take a break for a coffee break.

Continue next to Matala where you will have 3 hours of free time to enjoy the golden sandy beach. After some time sunbathing on the shore, the bus will then take you back to your hotel.

The best tour in 2021! Pickup in time, stops well organized,enough time everywhere, lovely stories about Crete from the guide, perfect little tips about where to go, what to photograph.. excellent german and english, genuine love for Crete, quite excellent skills in communication, a long with very scenic places in south crete, driving through magnificent Mountains. Love it and recommend!

Great tour with many beautiful sights. A perfect tour is only possible with a good tour guide and the right driver. Bus. And that was it! Barbara was a wonderful tour guide with lots of knowledge which made the tour complete. Little things - like hippie music on the way back from Matala made it all round. The bus was waiting for us, chilled and sparkling clean... we had experienced that differently here on other tours from other providers. thank you for the beautiful day

The trip was smooth and they take you to the great places, such as a small village, a quiet beach and a more energetic beach afterwards with so many small and cool shops!
