What people are saying about County Wicklow

Matt was one of the best tour guides, and I’d highly recommend him in the future. He’s extremely knowledgeable about the history of Ireland, and he shares that history in an easily understandable way — such that you’re continuing to pay attention to learn more, rather than zoning out. He has a gift with his storytelling ability (except the stories he’s sharing are true to history!). I also appreciated how approachable he was, naturally making light conversation with the passengers in our van. I felt terrible at the end when I realized I didn’t have enough cash as change to properly tip him, so I really hope this review helps things just a bit… as he is truly one of the best!

Well-planned tour with an amazing guide. Matt told us so many interesting facts about Ireland that we didn't know what to google first. He took the liberty to change our route slightly and it was worth it! We would recommend Hilltoptreks to anyone looking for a great tour and would book them again!

Can't visit Ireland without seeing the Wicklow mountains & Glendalough. Was really worth visiting and tour guide Richard made it even more special with all his knowledge!
