I understand the complexity of herding cats, let alone tourists, and the tour did a great job. Yet it would have been nice to not put our tour in in its own rail car. Rather, I would have preferred having that extra rail car added to the train and then letting the tourists finding their own seats, mixing us up with Irish citizens using the train in their normal lives. I went to Ireland not to meet other tourists from the USA, but to meet the Irish.

So glad we did this! David was our tour guide, and definitely a true joy. It is not only a cool way to see the country, but it packs a TON in. We definitely know if we come back, where else we’d want to spend more time. To top it off, we loved being in Galway in November—tons of Christmas events and just a cute little town.

Our experience was amazing! We loved, Bob, our guide. His narrative was the perfect mix of history and personality. The group we were with was small and friendly, so interaction with them made it even more fun. It's a lot for one day, but what a wonderful way to see the Atlantic coast of Ireland.

The experience was amazing. Our tour guide John was wonderful. Traveling by rail was a great way to see the countryside. All the stops along the way were great. This is a must do if you’re headed to Ireland.

Beautiful place and lovely tour along the coast ! Note - lots of stairs and walking
