Full description

Admire the rich ornamentations of the former royal palace of the Catholic kings of Spain on a tour of the Alcazar of Cordoba with an official guide. Enter through the main entrance gate and immerse yourself in the wonderful architecture of the palace, located on the site of a fortress built by the Visigoths and later occupied by the Caliphate of Cordoba. Learn more about historical events that shaped its importance to the city, including the meeting between Isabella I of Castile and Ferdinand II of Aragon and the explorer Christopher Columbus before he set sail for America. The tour of the Alcazar of Cordoba was amazing. We were so lucky to have Gloria as our guide. I came across her name several times while reading the reviews of other activities in Cordoba and to be honest the reviewers were right. So you must know I was very excited when I was told she was our guide. Gloria is just exceptional. Very knowledgeable! I did the Spanish tour since I was traveling with my parents. The Alcazar is beautiful, the extensive gardens with multiple flower types. Totally worth the experience.

Muy profesional la atención de Gloria. Aprovecho para despedirme de ella ya que siguió con otro grupo y yo me quedé en los Alcázares y no tuve oportunidad.
