Join a full-day tour of La Paz to Titicaca Lake, visiting Copacabana and Yumani as well as Isla del Sol. Depart from La Paz on a fully guided day-trip that sails on Titicaca Lake and visits Copacabana and Yumani as well as Isla del Sol. Leave La Paz at around 7 am and after approximately 3 hours you will arrive at Tiquina, the narrowest part of the Lake Titicaca. Cross to the other side by boat and continue the trip on a 30-minute bus ride to the town of Copacabana. Next, take a ferry across to Copacabana, the main Bolivian town on the shore of the lake that sits right beside the border with Peru. In the afternoon, you’ll have time to explore Yumani, on the south coast of the island, and marvel at the Sol Pilko Kaina temple and the details of Inca architecture.  After spending the night on the island, you’ll have the next day free until 15.30, giving you plenty of time to visit the northern side of the island, home to the Golden Museum and the Inca Fountain of Youth. In the afternoon, you’ll take the boat back to Copacabana, where you’ll have time for dinner before catching the bus back to La Paz where you will arrive around 23.00.

Get picked up from your hotel in Puno for a quick transfer to the city bus station. Travel by Lake Titicaca towards the Bolivian side of the border until your reach Copacabana, admiring stunning shoreline views over quintessential Altiplano landscapes.  You will make a stop for migration procedures, before heading to Copacabana. Start your boat tour to Sun Island, the cradle of the Inca Empire. Once on this legendary island, visit the main highlights accompanied by a tour guide. Afterward, board the boat once more and continue on to Copacabana while enjoying the majestic panorama of Lake Titicaca. Finally, board the local bus and get dropped off in La Paz in the late evening.

After being collected from your La Paz accommodation, you will be transferred to Copacabana by bus with a small group to make a brief visit to the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Copacabana. From there you will board your group boat and will sail to the Isla del Sol, enjoying a snack on board. On this legendary island, the cradle of the Inca Empire, you will visit the garden, the stairs, and the Inca Fountain. Your itinerary also includes a visit to the Pachamama terraces of Inca agriculture, an artisan center, the Intica refuge, and the largest variety of Andean camelids located in the "Manco Kapac" viewpoint. You will later board the boat again before continuing to sail, enjoying a delicious lunch and the majestic panorama of Lake Titicaca. At the conclusion of your tour, you will be transferred by car back to La Paz.

Meeting time in Bus Station in La Paz City at 7:40 a.m. Arrival in Copacabana around hrs. 12:00 p.m. approx. Visit The Temple of Copacabana before having lunch. After, a relaxing and panoramic trip of 1½ hours by boat to get to “Isla del Sol”, walk through the Steps of the Inca, drink from the Inca’s Fountain and then continue with a walk to the Ruins of Pilcocaina (Temple of the Sun), this walk is a little tiring but with a spectacular view of the Sacred Titikaka Lake and its main Island. Return to Copacabana by boat 1½ hours and local bus to La Paz City, arriving at your hotel at 10:30 p.m.
