To say the Vintage Vespa tour was amazing would only be drumming it down!! It was the highlight of our holidays My pals and I visited Rome last weekend for my birthday and had booked the tour little did we know how amazing the experience would be. The tour drivers minded us all so well there were so professional, i was really nervous on the back of the bike but my guide Alesso ensured that I felt safe checking with me all the time to make sure I was enjoying the tour. . We visited the baths the Vatican and many other sites, my favourite being the top of the mountain where we got a sureal view of the city of Rome and all the churches it was breath taking . They even brought a bottle of bubbly when they realized it was a birthday celebration and presented it to us at the top of the mountain they knew every inch of Rome. I would highly recommend this tour!! They made the weekend ! They made sure we had fun and let us design the tour ourselves they gave us lots of options to choose from
I had an absolute awesome experience. I had a ten hour lay over in Rome and traveling solo. I figure this would be the best way to see Rome in a day. My guide was Andreas, he was extremely knowledgable and a master on the Vespa. Rome streets are crazy, and he handled it like a pro without missing an opportunity to inform me about his great city every step of the way. I was completely confident in his Driving skills and felt safe. When it rained we stopped by a delicious bakery for cannolis and coffee, which was nice. I highly recommend this tour.... it is absolutely sooooo much to see in Rome and you can’t do it on foot. The four hour tour flew by and he was so nice to drop me off at the train station so I wouldn’t miss my flight. Great Experience.
There were four of us on the tour, all over 50 years. Only one of us had ever done a Segway tour before. Roberto was a great tour guide and took time to explain the operation of the Segway and gave us time to practice driving it. The Segway is a very easy way to get around. We were surprised at how easy it is to drive. Roberto took us to some interesting sites and was very knowledgable about the history of Rome. We saw the ancient Roman ruins, the ghetto and the Colosseum. Amazing sights! We highly recommend the Ancient Rome Segway Tour with Roberto. (Also, one of the guys took us to a wine shop to buy some good Italian wine and held it for us until we returned from the tour!)
After a short training, our Segway guide Arturo led us two through a lot of unknown and hidden places in Rome. The ride with the Segway was very comfortable - but somewhen a little spooky, when we were followed by buses and scooters. Thanks a lot to Arturo for a very good Rome-experience!
it was a great experience, also very personal. we had a lot of fun and would definitely do it again!
