Begin from Hobart heading east then following the coastline north. Travel through the seaside towns of Orford and Swansea. Enjoy a brief stop at Spiky Bridge, a convict built bridge, the picturesque Spiky Beach and then on into the National Park. Keen walkers can walk down to Wineglass Beach (2.5 hr return walking time), enjoy a swim in the pristine waters, relax and have lunch in this amazing setting. Alternatively, travel with your guide to discover more of the National Park and visit Honeymoon Bay, Sleepy Bay and the Cape Tourville lookout and short walk. After 4–5 hours at Freycinet, begin the trip back to Hobart. Enjoy a brief stop at the Freycinet Marine Farm for anyone interested in sampling the local oysters, mussels or crayfish fresh from the pristine waters of Oyster Bay and surrounds. Last but certainly not least, stop at picturesque Kate’s Berry Farm where Kate is serving up absolutely delicious berry ice-creams and other delights - jams, sauces, chocolates and jellies.

The tour departs from Launceston ready for an action-packed day out exploring the delights and highlights of the East Coast before finishing your day in Hobart. Your drive takes you through the well-preserved Georgian townships of Evandale and Campbell Town. Make a short stop in Campbell Town where you can collect some lunch to take along for the day ahead. You will have time to discover the Convict Brick Trail that extends through the town, visit the Red Bridge, and check out the tree sculptures depicting the history of the town. After a brief stop in Campbell Town, travel to the East Coast, where you catch an amazing view of the area at the Great Oyster Bay Lookout and an opportunity to purchase some fresh oysters plucked from the beautiful surrounding waters. Once inside Freycinet National Park, begin a series of walks and exploration of the area. Walk as a group to the Wineglass Bay Lookout, a moderate uphill walk of around 45 - 60 minutes. Here the views make the walk well worth the effort! For the keen walkers, you can continue the walk down to Wineglass Bay beach (2.5 hour return walking time). Once on the beach you have time to take a swim, relax, eat your lunch or meander along the white sands. Or, if you prefer to select the shorter walking option, you can explore other areas of Freycinet with your tour guide. Visit Honeymoon Bay and the Cape Tourville Lighthouse “Great Short Walk”. The tour re-groups, ready for the onward journey to Hobart. Last but certainly not least we stop at Kate’s Berry Farm in the seaside township of Swansea. Here Kate is serving up delicious Berry Ice-creams and other sweet delights such as jams, sauces, chocolates and jellies. You will then return to your Hobart central city accommodation around 06:30 PM – 07:00 PM. (Airport drop offs around 06:00 PM – 06:30 PM – available only with arrangement at time of booking).

Visit the Pirate’s Bay Lookout to see the stunning rock formations of Tasman Arch and Devils Kitchen. Visit the Tasmanian Devils Conservation Park to walk with the wallabies and feed Tasmania's most famous creature. Take a tour of the Port Arthur penal colony and learn the story of transportation to Australia. Visit the historic village of Richmond before spending the night in Hobart. Day 2: Hobart – Wineglass Bay – Freycinet National Park – Launceston Make your way across to Freycinet National Park, and hike up to Wineglass Bay Lookout for stunning views. Go for a short walk to the Cape Tourville Lookout and marvel at Honeymoon Bay and Sleepy Bay. Visit Freycinet Marine Farm, where you can taste the freshest seafood. Get dropped off at your accommodation at the end of the day. Day 3: Launceston – Cradle Mountain Depart Launceston in the morning and make your way to Cradle Mountain National Park to avail of a variety of nature walks in the rainforest. Choose from the Dove Lake Walk or longer Marion’s Lookout before seeing the murals of Sheffield. Try some local Ashgrove cheese fresh from the farm before the end of the tour services.

This walk takes around 1.5 hours, is graded as an easy but uphill walk. For the keen walkers, you can continue the walk down to Wineglass beach (2.5 hours return walking time). You have time on this famous beach to take a swim, relax, eat your lunch or meander along the white sands.  If you prefer to select the shorter walking option, then you can explore other areas of Freycinet with your tour guide.  Visit Honeymoon Bay, Sleepy Bay, Cape Tourville Lighthouse and enjoy a great short walk. The tour re-groups ready for the return journey. While still on the East Coast, make a final stop for the day, where you can refresh and refuel in a friendly and relaxed location. Try the local hand-crafted ice creams or perhaps a famous Tasmanian scallop pie! Then it is onwards into Launceston arriving around 06:30 PM.  

Get picked up from your accommodation in Hobart and travel to Tasmania's beautiful eastern coastline. Pass through the seaside towns of Orford and Swansea on the way to the historic Freycinet National Park, famous for its stunning coastal landscapes. Explore the park's renowned walking trails, while spotting local wildlife and taking in views of secluded bays backed by pink granite mountains and pristine waters lapping the shores of white sandy beaches.  Make a brief stop at the Freycinet Marine Farm as you enter the peninsula to taste some fresh local oysters from the surrounding waters. Without further ado, get the day's hike underway. Choose to make the first half of the trek to Wineglass Bay Lookout with your guide at a leisurely pace while listening to informative commentary about the area, or hike at your own pace and enjoy the tranquility of the pristine natural surroundings. Get rewarded at the end of the 45-minute uphill trek with views across the bay. Then make a steep downhill hike to the stunning Wineglass Beach. Walk barefoot along the white sand to the beach's southern end to take in amazing views of the Hazard mountains. Relax, eat lunch, and go for a dip in the clear blue water before making the return hike along the walking trail to meet your guide and head back to Hobart. Stop off on the drive back for homemade ice-cream and other desserts with various jams, sauces, chocolates, and jellies at a local berry farm. Arrive back at your Hobart City accommodation around 6:30 – 7:00 pm.
