Discover the natural splendor of the Colca Canyon on this day trip from Arequipa. Start your trip of right with a delicious breakfast. Have the option to choose between a tour with lunch and the entry fee to the Colca Canyon or from a tour without these inclusions.  Enjoy early morning pickup at your hotel or accommodation in Arequipa and travel in an air-conditioned vehicle to the incredible Colca Canyon. Stop for breakfast in the charming town of Chivay. Travel through the Andes villages before reaching the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint.  Marvel at views of the surrounding landscapes and try to spot the giant Andean condor in flight. Cross the Patapampa Pass and admire the unique flora and fauna of the area. Catch a glimpse of the peaks of the Misti, Chachani, Pichu Pichu, and Ampato volcanoes. Following your guided hike, have the option to go to the La Calera Hot Spring. At the end of your tour, the bus will return you back to the city of Puno, where you will be dropped off at your accommodation at approximately 7:30 PM.

We started with a terrible problem: we were informed the night before the tour that they would pick us up at the hotel at 7:45 am, but on the day of the tour we were woken up at 3 am by the hotel receptionist, saying that our guide was waiting. After explaining and showing the evidence that the error was on the part of the agency, the guide gave us 10 minutes to get ready and check out of the hotel, while she looked for other passengers. Along the way, there were even more delays with other people, which meant they had to leave all the stops at the viewpoints for the return trip. They found a van for us to change groups, as we were going to Puno. The exchange was wonderful, as the guide Henry was great, super calm and clear, he made several stops along the way, in addition to taking us to lunch in one of the best restaurants we went to in Peru, with live music and everything. It saved the bad impression we had at the beginning. Super recommended for anyone going to Puno.

Everything was perfect ! The guide was great, spoke clear and understandable Spanish, was attentive to everything, didn't shower you with explanations, easy to access and the places visited were very well chosen. The condors were there and hypnotized us. The van was comfortable. Picked up at the hotel and brought to Puno at the hotel. Really must do

It is not specified that the condors are at certain times in the spawning period. However, we managed to see one anyway! It's not really a walk but more of a day by bus where we stop at different places. It is still extremely pleasant and the guide was absolutely brilliant! Thanks again.
