Take in the 3 most culturally and historically important sites in the Mexico City area on a full-day tour that includes visits to Teotihuacan, the basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and Tlatelolco. Your tour begins with a visit to the archeological site of Teotihuacan, where you’ll marvel at some of the most impressive pyramids in the world. See the Sun and Moon pyramids, the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, the Avenue of the Dead, and more. Next you’ll head to Mexico’s most important Catholic pilgrimage site, the basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. This shrine was built to commemorate the reported appearance of the Virgin Mary to Juan Diego, an Aztec peasant. The third and final stop of the tour is Tlatelolco, where it is said that the past, present, and future of Mexico meet. The Plaza de las Tres Culturas is named after the 3 periods of Mexican history that are represented by structures from the pre-Columbian, Spanish colonial, and the independent mestizo nation.

Our tour guide, Allen, was kind, funny, and knowledge of the rich history of Mexico City! Victor, our driver, was professional and a safe driver. Overall, the tour was organized and really enjoyable! We had the opportunity to shop, try tequila, and have lunch and of course see the pyramids in Teotihuacan. A must if you’re new to Mexico City.

We were picked up at our hotel at the time we were told we would be. The guide explained everything in two languages, until all 13 'guests' voted that he explain all in English. He willingly complied. He was very informative and friendly, with excellent recall with our names. The pyramids were what I expected: old and historical. The Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe was special because of its significance. Also, my wife became ill for a short time. The guide, Alan, was extremely attentive to her needs. She recovered quickly. The restaurant where we had lunch was very nice. The conversations we had with the other 'guests' made the trip worthwhile also.
