  • Teotihuacan Pyramids

    1. Teotihuacan Pyramids

This staggering City of the Gods, constructed by the Toltecs, was built over the course of 300 years starting in 100 BC. Prepare to feel small as you tour its monumental pyramids.

  • Frida Kahlo Museum

Mexico's iconically-eyebrowed artist has her own museum in D.F., in the house where she was born and where she died. Its cobalt blue walls and tranquil courtyards are truly lovely.

  • Lucha Libre

    3. Lucha Libre

Forget WWE - if you've ever wanted to see a wrestling match, this is it. Lucha Libre is a form of wrestling peculiar to Hispanic countries, distinguished by its colorful masks.

  • Puebla

    4. Puebla

Puebla is one of the oldest inhabited places in the whole country. The Tonanzintla Church and Cholula Pyramid, framed by the Sierra Norte mountains, is unforgettable.

  • Guadalupe Shrine

    5. Guadalupe Shrine

This basilica was built in the 1600s, on the spot where Our Lady of Guadalupe is said to have appeared to St. Juan Diego. In the 1970s, a new basilica was constructed alongside.

  • Zona Rosa

    6. Zona Rosa

Mexico City's "Pink Zone" is home to gay and Korean communities among many others. As you walk its bohemian streets, you can see some of Mexico's most European-looking architecture.

Planning Your Visit

  • How long should I stay in Mexico City?

10-14 days is enough to get the most out of this truly amazing city.

  • How walkable is Mexico City?

It's huge, so you will be relying on public transport a lot. In certain non-tourist areas, it's advised to avoid walking around at night.

  • When should I go to Mexico City?

Mexico City thrives in the summer, but it is probably best to visit from November onwards if you are averse to extreme heat.

  • Anything else I should know?

In Mexico, tipping is common in places you may not have expected - for example, at gas stations and supermarkets. If in doubt, check out what locals are doing.

Nicolas was my guide today. We had a wonderful conversation, he is very knowledgeable, open and friendly. There was so much covered, from the markets to small hidden gems of churches, churches, the ruins of Templo Mejor. So much history was covered. I have been to Mexico City and seen various aspects of the city. However, this walking adventure help a vast amount of new information for me. Thank you. I'm so happy I chose to do this tour.

Carlos the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly! He is a wealth of knowledge. Also, Ana the driver was very friendly. Both Carlos and Ana were so prompt when they picked me up from my hotel. Very clean and modern SUV! Beautiful road trip and amazing sights to see at Teotihuacan and Guadalupe Shrine.

I am absolutely amazed about the friendly approach and flexibility of the staff, so huge shout out for them, the tour was great, I had a really good time, guide was on the point, learned a lot, the free times were enough and the restaurant was mind-blowing. Thank you very much!

The balloon ride was spectacular. It’s really cold in the mornings at the moment and because of the current Covid regulations you will have to wait outside, so please remember to bring warm clothes. Really easy with the transport, pickup/drop off. On time too.

Great service, comfortable trip, the guide explained everything very well, was very flexible, and we had a very good time. The restaurant chosen was excellent, overall a very good experience, highly recommended.
