me and my mum had a wonderful time on the tran , all the conductors and drivers were spontaneous & very knowledgeable giving us a tour around Christchurch cbd ' I highly recommend using the tram when travelling around town , there was never a dull moment , each person on all 3 trams were an absolute delight. for our first experience visiting Christchurch it was the BEST !

Amazing recovery from the earyhquake

We arrived by coach from the Majestic Princess in Akaroa to be dropped off at Gloucester Street, taking the tram down through the city. The gardens, Avon River, into Cathedral Square, around through Regent Street, full of great cafes, coffee shops. Continuing on down into the main commercial and business district, which has been remarkably been rebuilt to new standards to protect from earthquakes. Making our return down High Street, we proceeded back down the loop to the Arts and Gardens sector, riding on this great vintage tram.

Wonderful experience for a local (me) to keep up with all the changes.

Will be recommending to others (local and visitors) as a unique and informative experience. Great tram driver, friendly with a touch of humour. Loved the options of all day, on/off experience. Worked well for both my grandson and me as the tram provided an easy link between the wonderful Margaret Mahy playground and the Museum, gardens, Art Centre etc, etc. Thank you
